“The exterior may look stately, but the interior is truly remarkable. The early-20th-century architecture, wide corridors, impressive staircase, and beautiful wood panelling all show real care in design and decor. On arrival, I wasn't sure about parking, but a concierge greeted me right away, took my bags, and parked the car. Every member of staff was warm and made my wife and me feel at ease. The room was immaculate, the food first-class, and the service outstanding. If you want to feel truly special, this is the place. The hotel sits next to the old city walls, just two minutes' walk over the river to the centre. An excellent choice for treating yourself or someone you love.”
